Category: Best Human Performance in an Audio Only Broadcast

My nominated entry for this year's Vox Awards was a radio commercial for St Peter's Hospice titled "44 Days", produced for broadcast on the Bauer Media network by my good friend and long-time collaborator Rick Loynes.

The spot was a crucial fundraising appeal, so we had to ensure the voiceover landed just right emotionally. As a writer myself, I know how challenging charity marketing can be. Reading this script with sensitivity while maintaining an air of hope was key. It needed to feel gently hopeful rather than somber or sad and I really feel that we achieved that.

I'm so grateful to see the piece recognized. It's such an important message and a vital cause.

The awards ceremony takes place in October, so I have a short wait to find out the final results. But with thousands of entries submitted this year, simply making the shortlist is a massive honor!
